Richad Scarry's Lowly Worm Meets the Early Bird
By Richard Scarry.
Description
Richard Scarry's take on the classic adage "the early bird catches the worm" is delightfully realized in this Step 2 reader, out of print for 10 years. Early Bird looks and looks, but he can't seem to find a worm to play with. A jumping frog and a tiny field mouse try to help out, but there just aren't any worms to be found. Early Bird is about to give up when he meets a friendly fellow in a funny hat—it's Lowly Worm! Step 2 (Reading with Help) is for children who recognize familiar words and sound out new words with aural and visual cues....
